Being very young, Pallatier traveled from Paris to Spain with the intention of becoming a bullfighter, but he couldn’t overcome his fear. He focuses his work on bullfighting from 1983 onward, using scraps of bullfighter costumes and other bullfighting objects. From 1996 onwards, he even uses the bullfighter’s cape as a brush and invents “Toreography,” which he calls “the writing of bullfighting.”.
